This tour is probably the best choice for those who want to take a break from the life in a big city. We offer you a nice trip to the most beautiful region of Lower Austria – Wachau Valley formed by the Danube River. Nature, amazing landscapes but also architectural and agricultural heritage are waiting here for all visitors. Wachau Valley was even recognized by UNESCO as a World Heritage Site.

During our tour we will drive through Krems – small town well known since historical times for its terraced vineyards and wine trade. Then we will visit Durnstein – medieval town famous for the castle where King of England – Richard the Lionheart was held captive by Leopold V, Duke of Austria of after their dispute during the Third Crusade. Later we will go to Spitz and from there either drive further to Melk Abbey or take a 1,5 hour cruise on Danube River so you can admire beautiful scenery of the Valley from the boat. Melk Abbey is a Benedictine Monastery picturesquely situated on the rocky hill overlooking the Danube Valley. On the way back to Vienna we will drive across famous Vienna Woods – popular recreation area for citizens of the capital city.

Whole tour lasts approx 7 hours.
